Endless Ad is an online advertising publisher using a modified pixel advertising model.
What is pixel advertising?
Pixel advertising was accidentally or brilliantly (depends on your opinion) established by Alex Tew and the milliondollarhomepage.com. From a statement on his web site he established a simple idea of selling pixels for $1 each, using increments of 10x10. He was successful and created a large media buzz, stirring the conversation of, is this a real advertising venue. In the midst of that debate, there have been many site imitations, some directly copying and others creating similar inspired pixel advertising sites. While Endless Ad also works off of a pixel advertising model, we also bring to the table a new interface and a solid back end system to enhance the ads and the experience.
Why is pixel advertising so popular?
2 main reasons, one for the consumer and one for the advertiser.
For the advertiser: Ads are purchased at a custom size. This is huge. Ads are no longer conforming to the medium, now the medium conforms to the ad. This allows for more cost effective advertising. Don't buy an ad that's too large, or likewise too small. Don't over spend on an ad buy. It's all completely customizable.
For the consumer: It's advertising by choice. Think about it, do you want a world that's completely ad free? How would you find out about the latest and greatest products? What about necessary or comfort services? It's why phone books are so successful, people need to find out what's available out there. And in a world that's shrinking globally and industries are becoming more specialize you can't just walk down the street and look at the store fronts. You need a venue where you can look through advertisements and find what you want, or maybe just browse for something you didn't even know existed. It's noninvasive advertising, at least the reputable ones are.
What makes EndlessAd.com any different?
In common pixel advertising sites the total ad space available is limited to 1 mill. pixels, or some other predetermined size. This creates a problem, the ad space may sell out and once it does consumers don't have as much of a reason to come back. Endless Ad fixes this by creating a unique interface that streams ads horizontally, creating an advertising space that will never run out. Consumers can come back and always know there will be new ads to look at, something to discover. In addition to the draw for consumers the advertisers gain a lot by this interface. Ads are 100 pixels high by any length over 25 pixels, each pixel costs only a penny (USD). Advertisers can customize the ad buy appropriate to their message, purchase an ad economical for their business or both. It's advertising that makes sense. |
